As we are a Cosmetic (Aesthetic) Dental Practice, which is an enormous subject and it encompasses the entire spectrum of Dentistry, it means in effect that careful attention is given to cosmetic detail when restoring or reconstructing a tooth or teeth.
The replacing, restoration, reconstruction or repositioning
of the tooth or teeth must mimic the natural health dentition.
This means all aspects of general dentistry are done. Including Cosmetic Dentistry, Implantology and Orthodontics. Dr van der Mescht is also now a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Our surgery is equipped with all the latest technology, equipment and materials. All the materials we use are approved by the American Dental Association. To achieve a high quality of treatment, we make use of an intra-oral camera, a digital x-ray unit machine, a Trophy panoramic and cephalometric x-ray unit, an Ellman Dento-surgery unit a wand computerized local anesthetic system and the minister laboratory to name a few.

In Orthodontics we are now also using the revolutionary new Damon-System that uses lighter forces that are more favourable for tooth movement. The period of treatment is also shorter.
