About the practice :

We are a Cosmetic (Aesthetic) Dental Practice which is an enormous subject as it encompasses the entire spectrum of dentistry, in effect, careful attention is given to Cosmetic detail when restoring or reconstructing a tooth or teeth.

All the aspects of general dentistry are covered. We have a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Implantology and Orthodontics. Dr Sonia van der Mescht is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).

In order to achieve the highest quality of treatment, our surgery is equipped with all the latest technology and all the materials we use are approved by the American Dental Association. We make use of an Intra-Oral camera, a Digital X -ray unit machine, a Trophy Panoramic and Cephalometric X-ray unit, an Ellman Dento-Surgery unit and a Wand computerized local anesthetic system, to name a few.

In Orthodontics we are now using the revolutionary new DAMON-SYSTEM that uses lighter forces that are more favorable for tooth movement. The period of treatment is also shorter. Extraction of teeth for Orthodontic treatment is virtually something of the past.

We continually add to our expertise by attending courses conducted by prevalent international role players.
